We have paired a fabulous oversized 14-carat gold dog clip clasp with a 10-carat gold tulip chain and they looks INCREDIBLE together!
The fabulous large dog clip bears the Austro-Hungarian stamp for 14ct gold dating it to circa 1872-1922 and has the letter mark for Vienna within the stamp.
The chain dates to the late Victorian era and is a beautiful yellow gold colour, whilst the dog clip clasp is a slightly warmer tone and almost has a soft rosy hue in some lighting. They pair together beautifully and will wear well with other gold carats and colours.
Converted from a long guard chain, the tulip links are semi-solid and in excellent condition as is the fabulous dog clip clasp.
This wonderful piece now has an incredibly wearable length of 22 inches (including the dog clip) and makes the perfect longer layer; the dog clip is an ideal component for holding your favourite charms and pendants.
